I’m Mario Besand, owner of Besand Custom Exteriors. With more than 28 years of experience in the construction industry, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects, from small repairs to large-scale remodels. After moving to Oregon and becoming licensed in 2007, I set out to build a business grounded in quality craftsmanship, honesty, and dependable service.
Every project I take on is approached with care and precision—because I believe the details matter. My goal is simple: to deliver results that stand the test of time and earn the trust of every homeowner I work with.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Elizabeth, our two adult daughters, and our first grandchild, who’s brought a whole new kind of joy to our lives.

Although I specialize in exterior construction, my background spans nearly every aspect of home building and remodeling. I learned the trade working alongside some of the most skilled builders and remodelers in the industry before starting my own business.
What truly drives me is collaborating with homeowners—taking their ideas, refining them, and seeing those plans come to life. I take pride in the details and in building lasting relationships through honest work and satisfied customers. My business has grown almost entirely through reputation and word of mouth, which I believe is the greatest compliment any craftsman can receive.
Outside of work, I value time with my family and continually strive to grow in faith and purpose.
